He Never Walks Away

On several occasions in the Bible, we see how when it seems like all hope is lost, things suddenly turn around and the day is saved. It’s like in those super cliche moments in superhero movies where you have the superhero come into the scene just in the nick of time.
Well the only difference is the truth and reality that takes place in the events of the Bible as opposed to the fantasy and imagination of what you may watch in a superhero movie. When things were about to go down in the presence and craziness of Goliath, David comes in, full of the presence of God, and turned things around before anyone had realized it. God sent down fire just at the right moment to Elijah’s offering just so that he could prove that God was truly alive and as real as can be. In the New Testament, we see how the disciples of Christ were at total unrest and panic when they realized that their boat was going to get eaten up by the fierce storm. But Jesus steps in and calms the storm and restoring order.
In short, it can clearly be said that Christ never abandons us but rather comes down to us and touches us with His blessing when we need it the most. However something that most of us probably experienced at some point or the other are those moments when it seems like God is silent and/or has abandoned us. What gives?
It is important to remember that God’s time is not our time. God, who created us and knows us inside and out, knows the perfect time for everything in our lives and carries them out accordingly to His plan. We on the other hand as Christians, need to be reminded of the fact that God is in control and trust that He would do the best for us. After all He is our Father and we know that He would give us the best because His Son - Jesus never walked away even when the world went against Him. Instead He offered to us the best of Himself - His life, and set us free by His ultimate act of sacrifice.
Remember that God never abandons. He is always present and always by our side ready to take us to the next level when His time is right.
